VSII management understands our customers' business challenges as well as their technical needs. This solid grounding in business issues makes VSII a particularly valuable collaborative partner, often contributing beyond just technical expertise. Our management team also has a sound academic background in information technology and a long track-record of successful software development businesses.  

Mr. Le Xuan Hai: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr.Hai is in responsible for overall management, business development, human resource management, finance and accounting as well as procurement and investment strategies for VSII. Since December 2011 he becomes the Chairman to lead and govern the company together with his partners.

Mr. Hai graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Computing Science in 1984 and then pursued a Post Graduate Course in Computer Graphics in Germany (1988). In 1995, he obtained a Master's Degree in Computing Studies from the University of New England, New South Wales, Australia.

Before co-founding VSII, he worked as a Project Manager for a French Outsourcing Project from 1992 – 1993 and as an Information Technology Manager for the Caterpillar dealership for Vietnam (1995 – 1998). He was co-founder and Technical Director of ELINCO Co. Ltd, an information technology and electronics enterprise in Vietnam, where he worked from 1998 – 2003. In the year 2000, he co-founded VietSoftware Inc, where he held the post of Vice General Director and Chief Technology Officer. In the years 2005-2007, he had worked as the acting head of the center for training and technology transfer of the National Institute of Strategy for Post and Telecom and Information Technology, Ministry of Information and Communication of Vietnam.

Currently he is working with his partners to bring the company to various value-chain stages. From the ground of mature management team and skillful software engineers, the company has operated a number of Off-shore Dedicated Centers. He is contributing to the middleware market development in Vietnam, working closely with banking and finance customers for integration services. Moreover, he is holding Chairman position in the subsidiary of VSII, the V.B.P.O company which locates in Da Nang city and focuses on BPO services to Japan clients.

Dr. Tran Luong Son: Board Member in charge of Global Strategic Development

Dr. Son obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Moscow University of Steel and Alloys, Russia, and a Master's degree in Management of Technology from the MIT's Sloan School of Management and was a research fellow at the University of North Carolina's Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, USA.

He is co-founder of VietSoftware and VietSoftware International. He was President of the Northern Vietnamese Software Cluster, and the author of a number of strategy works on industry cluster, member of Advisory Board of Vietnam Software Association, member of Advisory Board of Asianux Consortium, an alliance of Japan, China, Korea and Vietnam in open source software. In the New Year's Eve to 2012, he transferred the Chairman position to the CEO to focus on global strategic development.

Mrs. Pham Thi Kieu Lien: Board Member

Ms. Lien graduated with an Engineering Degree in Electronics at the Moscow Power Engineering University in the former USSR in 1984. She then obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the Victoria University, Australia.

Before working for VSII, she held several different positions in computer science. She was senior Engineering Manager for Masan IT; Senior Engineering Manager for Paragon Solutions Vietnam, a subsidiary of Paragon Solutions, Inc., U.S.A; General Director of Coco Software Engineering Vietnam Ltd., a subsidiary of Coco Software Engineering GmbH, Austria. Her areas of expertise include banking software solutions, project management and quality management

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung: Board Member, Vice General Director

Mr. Tung's responsibilities include business development, production, training and workforce building.

Mr. Tung graduated with an Engineer's Degree (Dipl.-Ing) in Computer Engineering from Azerbaijan University of Technology, Baku (formerly in the USSR). He then obtained a PhD Degree in IT and Applied Mathematics from Belarusian State University, Minsk, Belarus (in the former USSR).

Mr. Tung has over 20 years of professional computer science experience. He developed one of the first software outsourcing projects in Vietnam for the French market, participated in Vietnam IT Training Project under a ODA project funded by Japanese Government from 1997 - 2002. Before joining VSII in 2006, Mr. Tung worked for 4 years as a General Business and Finance Market Manager for IBM Vietnam.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh:  Board Member

Mr. Ngoc Anh has been a member of the Board of Management of VSII since 2008. He has also been a Portfolio Manager at BIDV-Vietnam Partners Investment Management Company since 2006 in which he is responsible for managing the portfolio of two funds under management including monitoring and providing support and advisory services to investees in the portfolio. Prior to 2006, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Vietnam and the UK for 10 years. As a Senior Manager at PwC Hanoi during 2003-2006, he was responsible for advisory services, including engagements of diagnostic reviews, due diligence and restructuring of local enterprises. Before that, he was an audit manager at PwC Guernsey, U.K. (2000-2003) in charge of clients in banking, insurance and investment management. During 1995-1999 he was an Audit Senior and Audit Manager at PwC Hanoi office. Mr. Ngoc Anh graduated from Hanoi Banking Institute and obtained his MBA from Edinburgh Business School. He is currently a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Mrs. Nguyen Hong Hanh: Vice General Director, Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Hanh is responsible for the back office functions inclusive of accounting and finance, human resources and administration.

Ms. Hanh holds a Bachelor Degree in English Language (Hanoi Foreign Languages University) and Master Degree in International Accounting (Swinburne University, Australia).

Before joining VSII, she worked as Deputy General Manager of Yamagata Vietnam Co., Ltd., and prior to that she had worked in key positions in a few other international organizations and companies.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Duong: Head of Inspection Committee

Mr. Duong was voted in the General Shareholder's Meeting in Feb 2009 and served as Head of Inspection Committee since then.

Mr. Duong is currently working as Senior Manager of Vietnam Power Project Office – Marubeni Corporation with over 17 years of working experience at Marubeni Corporation. Thanks to his contribution, the operation of Marubeni in Vietnam power sector is the most successful among all EPC Contractors with a total sales record to date reached over $2.5 billions. Before that, he had experience in working with several local and joint venture companies in the field of dredging and construction.

Mr. Duong graduated from Hanoi Water Resources University in 1994 with major in Hydro Engineering Works. In the same year he got also got the Bachelor Degree from Hanoi University for Foreign Languages Teachers with major in English and in 1996 he obtained the Bachelor Degree in Corporate Finance from the National Economics University.
