Started with 19 employees on July 2005, VietSoftware International employs a core group of more than 100 professional engineers, being able to offer high quality software development and IT consulting services at a competitive price. With the dedication, full commitment, team spirit and advanced technical capability, we continue to do what we do best − provide quality software development services to the software industry. Some factors about our human resources:
- 110 employees in total at currently (planned to expand to 250 at the end of 2007)
- 2 PhD , 12 Masters, 91 Engineers, 5 Colleges
- 40% of employees with overseas experience
Training System
VietSoftware International recognizes the value and importance of providing opportunities to its entire staff to develop their work-related knowledge and skills, and expects that, thus increasing their individual effectiveness, they will make a richer contribution to the work of VietSoftware International. As a software development firm, VietSoftware International strives to be a learning organization with its responsibility to encourage and support learning throughout its constituent departments.
VietSoftware International provides Orientation Course for all new staff, to help them understand how the function of their job relates to the company's goals and to ensure that they understand the responsibilities in the workplace. The course covers VietSoftware International's history, working environment, technology overview, network and security policy, software development process etc. A mentor is assigned to help new employees integrate into VietSoftware International work environment.
To maintain and enhance the high standards of staff performance over time, VietSoftware International launched Capabilities Development & Training Division to commit to providing and supporting further training and development for existing staff. We have regular training courses for existing employees that covers technology, process, management skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, foreign languages (English, Japanese), etc. These courses are conducted either internally by VietSoftware International specialists or by external providers such as experts from IBM, Sun, Japan-Vietnam Culture Association Foundation, Alliant Corp., NewStar English Center etc.
